Selmun, Malta
Selmun is a countryside area in the North of Malta. It is part of Mellieha village. In Selmun we find a palace which until recently was used as a hotel and a chapel which is still used for mass every weekend. This spot is a favourite with Maltese people to make picnics or go for walks. Our students were taken there to do a Maths-Science-Physical Education activity. They had Math problems to work out at first, then during their 1.5km trekking to Imgiebah Bay, they were on the lookout for the kinds of landscapes we saw, the different common flowers of our countryside and the traditional Maltese rubble walls. They took pictures and prepared postcards to share with you.
