Interesting Places in Marsaskala: St. Anne's Parish Church


Marsascala became a Parish in 1949, and the small church of St. Anne, the property of the Senglea Chapter became the Parish Church. Later in 1953 a new church started being built, which is the church used till today. The parish priest today is Fr. Rodriek Camilleri. There are a lot activities and groups, such as Mothers and Baby group, groups that prepare for the feast of St. Anne which they celebraate on the last Sunday of July.

Interesting Places in Marsaskala: Villa Apap Bologna

Villa Apap Bologna Photo by Ayden Villa Apap Bologna was the property of the Noble Apap Bologna. In 1792 Grandmaster de Rohan   gave   him the title of "Marquis ta'   Ġnien is- Sultan". This was beneficial for the Marsascala parish church.
