Interesting Places in Marsaskala: Redoubt Briconet


Redoubt Briconet was built in 1715 by the Order of Saint John. The word REDOUBT means fortification. This building is found in Marsaskala and is located between the Parish Church and the Waterpolo Pitch. Until recently Redoubt Briconet was serving as the Marsaskala police station.

Interesting Places in Marsaskala: Villa Apap Bologna

Villa Apap Bologna Photo by Ayden Villa Apap Bologna was the property of the Noble Apap Bologna. In 1792 Grandmaster de Rohan   gave   him the title of "Marquis ta'   Ġnien is- Sultan". This was beneficial for the Marsascala parish church.
